Fille

Fille is a suspension lamp realised in polypropylene. It is made up of thirty identical triangular modules that connect to one another; each module has got three flaps which allow the fastening of the structure, that derives from an icosahedron. They have a dual function: on the one hand they make the structure rigid and compact, on the other hand they decorate the object, by masking the initial shape in order to give the structure a unique appearance. The geometry of the flaps is reinforced within the module by holes, realised using a hollow cutter, a steel tape with a sharp outline, that allowed having a precise and identical manufacturing, permitting the propagation of an uniform and suffused light.
